Lesson #16: Have no shame

I have a new invention. It is called No Shame Monday. And it is the best thing to happen since Midol.

Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Today is Tuesday. Why are you writing about Monday? Well, because I just invented it yesterday (which was a Monday) and I wanted to tell all of you about it so you can actively participate next week instead of being unprepared like the Girl Scout drop outs you all are. Get off my back.

I don’t know how many of you actually know me in real life, but I am pretty sure it is most of you. And so you probably already know that I have no sense of shame whatsoever on any day of the week. But yesterday, on No Shame Monday, I was feeling especially shameless and decided what the hell, might as well go big or go home…

“Please start something” they said!?…fellas still this is a great day for another great inspiration, to start something that could elevate you above your dreams. And when you realise, the sky is not your limit its your starting point… This also gives me a good illustration of a story a friend told me about his uncle.
My friends uncle owns a large estate that contains a lot of houses at lagos – victoria island, back then when he was about to purchase the land in that under-developed area which was covered with bushes his friends and even relatives told him, he had no sense of reasoning; why he would decide to purchase a land and build in the bush, reasons were unknown to them. In spite of those discouraging words, his uncle had a dream which none of them knew about and went ahead, purchased the land and built houses on it.
Today the story is different. We all know what it means to have a house on the island. LOL. He started something! Should they decide to sell the landed properties there, he will become a multi-millionaire on face value. NOTE: anything that will produce great results in the future will suffer from mutual battles| discouragement.
If you have great ideas to start something or have already started and you are getting discouraged then never forget what Willard Marriott wrote ” good timber does not grow with ease, the stronger the wind the stronger the trees”.
Even looking at the world greatest PoP star *Micheal Jackson* in one of his single debut he states it clear that ” you gotta be starting something” no matter what it is to achieve that supreme dream. Your star is wonderful, your pathway may be full of wonderful scars; that’s When I thought and realised that “God does not wish us a smooth journey, but wishes us a safe journey” most of us don’t get it, but you just have to.
don’t let the sanballias, o’reilleys, and schelliengers of this world stiffen your vision. Resist depression/self pity.

This is a new week, go start something and keep going with your dreams! 🙂

I’v been a reader of so many blogs, yet still wanted to write my own and express the little vital informations, ideas stalked up in my head. had all plans, sketches and ‘what would I say’- was waiting for the right time! LOL. Too many of us are waiting for someone to come along and tell us what to do next; not knowing whatever we do or neglect to do always catches up with us. Wanting to create my blog, had known my ability, but didn’t understand the assignment, it was until I understood the assignment , I was able to write and share ideas with people and friends.
Where is this taking us to..well there must be a balance between careful planning, faith, and understanding. Yet, if you talk to other professing people or friends, you might think otherwise. For example talk to some people who are unemployed and they’ll tell you, I’m just waiting for the lord to provide ά job. That’s fine but have you sharpened your job skill? Do you have the understanding.!
You say I’m not going to that route, I’m just waiting on God. ‘Oh, really? Then you won’t mind getting hungry for a while then. The old motto for soldiers during the revolutionary and cold war applies here “trust God but keep your powders dry!” Place your life in Gods hands , but stay already.
Nowadays the fetish, Christians, pagans Ąπϑ all categories would say” I trust in God” even though many of them don’t even believe he exist or not. The key point here is that you must do all you can to prepare yourselves understanding that the favour you need comes from above. More so, to walk with faith doesn’t mean you stop thinking, planning, taking advice, and self-correction and discipline. Ąπϑ it definitely doesn’t imply becoming lazy or apathetic. What a distortion of biblical faith!
•trust God for your finances, but don’t blow your budget.
•trust God for safety in a car but don’t pass on ά blind curve.
•trust God for your health, but don’t chain-smoke, staying up half the night and subsist on potato chips and carbonated drinks. Don’t act foolishly expecting help from above to bail you out Wђέή things go amiss, that isn’t faith, its presumption.

rebuke ά wise man and he’ll love you, rebuke a foolish man, and he’ll hate you

Faith, understanding and careful planning go hand-in-hand. They always have and they always will..

TGIF:) Have a wonderful weekend!!!!

When you’re down and out

this is a life saver tip y’all.

Trekking life

When we’re down, we tend to see the world through the problem. Meaning, the problem would always affect that world. How is this? When we have a problem, our world subtly shows its self to us through how we engage on our self-proclaimed dilemma. If we have problems with money, we tend to see the world as something that has rich, greedy people in it. If we have problems with our self, we tend to see the world as something that has apathetic people in it who seem to don’t care at all about us. However, we must also learn to recognize that what we’re seeing  now is, maybe, not the real problem.

We tend to make ourselves adjust to what our world shows and tells us. We enter a stage of depression when we see our world as something that we can’t bear to live in. We feel exhilarated…
